With over 17 years in the telecommunications industry, I bring strong leadership, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities in managing complex systems. My expertise lies in successfully navigating challenging projects, including high-stakes system migrations and integrations, to drive seamless transitions and maintain service excellence.My proudest achievement was leading the migration of two major systems from two different vendors into one unified system to support the merger of two telco companies. With no support from the old vendor, we completed this project within a very tight 6-month timeline, minimized the service disruption for the 4 million active customers and coordinated nearly all departments within the company. In this project, I was responsible for managing all technical aspects, including functional requirements and integration, such as:I worked closely with our internal engineering team and the new vendor’s migration team to ensure smooth data collection and transfer. I assisted the vendor’s product team set up our existing products and services in the new systems.I also collaborated with business users, our technical support team, and the vendor’s R&D team to gather new requirements, solve operational issues, and confirm that solutions meet our needs.Additionally, I coordinated with our developers to connect the new systems with our current software and ERP system. I worked with GSM network engineers to handle the integration and transition during the migration.Finally, I teamed up with testers to carry out functional and end-to-end testing, while also working with the vendor’s teams to find ways to improve the migration process. The project was successfully completed within six months, with no rollbacks and a single-night cutoff migration.
