As a passionate researcher and developer in the field of machine learning and deep learning, I'm eager to drive innovation in areas like deep reinforcement learning and natural language processing. My experiences throughout my PhD program at Nanyang Technological University, which is soon to be completed, have equipped me with a strong foundation in both research and development of cutting-edge deep learning models, as evidenced by my publications, doctoral thesis, and technical projects. I am proficient in Python and PyTorch and have experience in fine-tuning large language models.My background in computer engineering has instilled in me an ability to solve diverse technological challenges. From my various co-op experiences during my undergraduate years at the University of British Columbia, which ranged from IT support to software development, I gained experience not only in problem solving, but also in effective communication with co-workers. My time as a Visiting Scholar at Nanyang Technological University required that I swiftly learn various programming languages and technologies (including the Ionic Framework, Unity, SQL, and front-end web development) for different projects.
