▪ Teach Spanish I and II courses to high school students (ages 14-18) in a rural community using a block schedule.Devise learning goals, essential questions, and enduring understandings based on Common Core/State standards.▪ Develop and administer diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments that measure student progress, informlessons, and provide feedback to students and parents.▪ Design and implement rigorous lessons stemming from research-based instructional strategies that engage andmotivate students to acquire key knowledge and skills, stimulate critical thinking, and inspire creativity.▪ Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse students from various academic placements.▪ Maintain a positive and academically challenging environment that is student-centered and conducive to learning.
