Battalion Standardization Officer for United States Army Aviation Battalion Japan (USAABJ). Responsible for managing, training, evaluating rated and non rated crew members. Mentor and train Instructor Pilots and Standardization Pilots. Oversees Aviation Life Support Equipment and Water Survival Training. Monitors the Standing Operating Procedures in place and its implementation and makes necessary corrections as needed. Conducts flight Instruction and evaluations in the UH60L under day, night, night vision goggles, and Instrument meteorological conditions. Coordinates training for aircrew members with US Navy, Japanese counterparts, and South Korea to enhance mission readiness throughout the Pacific. Instrument Operator (2B-38) at K-16 South Korea for Instrument flight training, Deck Landing Procedures and Emergency Procedures.

Katterbach, Germany

• Performed as the Company Standardization Instructor Pilot managing 10 UH-60 Blackhawks, and 36 air crew members. While assigned to Germany, deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn, flying over 450 combat hours supporting the Multi National Forces-Iraq and U.S. Forces Iraq, our missions training with Iraqi Commandos directly affected the ability for US forces to hand over sensitive high value missions to the Iraqi Army and begin the draw down. Also deployed to Afghanistan Operation Enduring Freedom 2010-2012 in support of International Security Assistance Force. Trained and mentored Instructor pilots, Flight Instructors, and Conducted Annual Instrument Evaluations; Instrument Operator (2B-38) at Illesheim, Germany conducting training and evaluations for Instrument flights and Emergency Procedures and High Altitude Mountainous Environmental Training. Managed Air Crew Training Program for Bravo Company 3-158 Aviation in accordance with Army Regulations, Commanders' Guide, and Local Standing Operating Procedures.
