About Jonathan Light
As a Quality Specialist within the BMW Groups Powertrain, Chassis and Autonomous Driving team it is my responsibility to undertake powertrain & chassis development testing work for new model launches across the MINI product range. Alongside this, when required, production support on complex powertrain & chassis topics. Another function of the role is the supporting with engineering development across the BMW Powertrain products.I have completed a 4 year Degree Apprenticeship program with the BMW Group, gaining a BEng in Mechanical Engineering Design and securing my role as a Specialist in Material Technology. Previously, I have completed a Higher Apprenticeship with BP Castrol. Securing a position within the Motorsport & Platforms teams. This role comprised of in-depth project work alongside daily business to supply new and innovative products into the lubricants marketplace.
