As regards any legal or tax requirements, I am a Swedish (1989) and American (2015) citizen. My BSN, a social services number from 2016, authorises long-term employment in the Netherlands. After my childhood in Sweden, my family relocated from Göteborg to Amstelveen. Between 1997 and 1999, I attended the International School of Amsterdam, but in 2000 I attended a Montessori school in Partille. We emigrated to the U.S. in 2001, where I enrolled at Mountain Ridge Junior High in Utah. I obtained my high school diploma from American Fork High School in 2007. Whilst completing my BA in Anthropology at The University of Utah, I worked at IKEA Draper between 2007 and 2011. Although I relocated to the U.K. for my MA in Archaeology at Durham University in late 2011, I continued marketing health supplements at my family company Embla Global until 2013. Between 2013 and 2014, I turned to technical writing at American Express in Salt Lake City. I also backpacked in Tokyo, Kyoto, Bangkok, Phnom Penh, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (etc). After 6 months in Oxford, I explored Bordeaux, Paris, Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Amsterdam and Costa Rica (etc.). In due course, I joined TestOut as a software tester in 2015. Following my telemarketing role at Bustec, I continued with testing at SyncForce in Eindhoven.I helped expand Embla Robotics, a second family company, between 2016 and 2022. To experience university life in Sweden, I completed Archival Science (15 credits) at Lund University in 2018, for which I first passed a Swedish Tisus exam. Moreover, I performed semantic annotation at Appen between 2017 and 2019. I visited Mexico and Sweden in 2017.During my EUIPO traineeship in Alicante between 2019 and 2020, I took the opportunity to tour Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon and Indonesia. The pandemic saw me freelancing as a tester at MyLabs in 2021. When I concluded my 5.5 years at Embla Robotics in 2022, I began apprenticing at New Morning Farm in Pennsylvania. In 2023 I not only WWOOFed at Common Ground Farm in Pennsylvania, but I also served as an AmeriCorps member at Rio Grande Farm Park in Colorado.Having finished WWOOFing at Ängsbacka Course and Festival Center, I'm currently enrolled in the 2-year aquaponics engineering programme at Väddö Folkhögskola until 8 May 2026.

The 'Three Amigo' sessions were collaborative meetings at which a software tester, developer and Business Analyst (BA) specified user stories through examples to illustrate a product's business requirements. If I summarise the 'Helpers' tool used for trademark filing, it facilitated trademark examination and registration. Linguarama Ibérica, on the other hand, was a language training service at the EUIPO. The Pan-European Seal IP Campus, which was a competition organised by the EUIPO, had 10 teams of trainees present their IP topics to a panel of judges. At a closing ceremony, the judges announced a winner and two runner-ups. -
Semantic AnnotatorAppen Oct 2017 - Feb 2019United States15 October 2017 - 1 February 2019Part-time (50%) and a remote 1099 contract Assigned domains and labels to queries in Swedish, according to 336-page guidelines Retained, added or deleted computer-generated text separators to split sentences Matched context changes, whether positive, negative, neutral or other, with fragments Transcribed and labelled recordings in English, with at least an accuracy rate of 85%Points of contact were two linguistic project managers: Rebecca Hanson: rhanson@appen.comHannah Washington: hwashington@appen.comI assigned one of 30 'domains' or categories, which were subdivided into three classes, to queries ('clustering'). Moreover, I assigned general labels ('parsetypes') and specific labels ('mentions') to queries ('tagging'). The queries were simply utterances spoken to voice-controlled devices. Their purpose, having been added to a database, was to train machines to render annotations themselves. As for the split sentences and phrases, which were resultant semantic fragments, I classified them into coherent units ('fragment breaking') and linguistic units ('tokenisation'). The 'sentiment values' were markers of verbal intent, but they were determined by context changes ('sentiment analysis'). -
