I led weekly recitations of 16 students, guiding them in practicing concepts and technologies taught in class, such as Ruby on Rails, React, test-driven development, API development, authorization, and authentication. Furthermore, I ran weekly office hours for over 100 people, helping them with debugging their assignments.I was appointed as the lead teaching assistant for Spring 2025 as the lead grading TA. Entrusted with supervising fellow teaching assistants, managing exams and grading sessions, and overseeing course administration duties.

My biggest contribution to this course as a Head TA was I restructured, rewrote, and user-tested the entire 10 year old web development unit for the course to better instruct students in Javascript and teach them new technologies not previously covered in the labs, including APIs and CSS animations. I also managed a team of 30 Body TAs as a head TA, guiding them in grading, lab sessions, and office hours.Other contributions to the course include I helped teach database and website development labs, hosted recitations on professional development related topics such as resume development and networking, and hosted web development office hours to help teach the concepts of front-end design to students.

I led weekly recitations of 22 students, emphasizing safety in database design and providing in-depth instruction to students on SQL fundamentals, ensuring a strong foundation in database development.I also mentored 8 teams of two students through completing a database design term project, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills while enhancing their understanding of database management principles leading to an average grade in the class of 88% and an average term project score for my groups of 92%.

I led an HCI project that focused on a novel innovation in fabrication. Our paper has been accepted to be for publication by TEI where I am one of three equally contributing first authors. For this project I developed the front and back end of an app using html to create an interactive, dynamic graphical user interface and python to design an expandable, well organized software architecture. I also effectively communicated the complex findings of our research through compelling and articulate presentations and posters.
