I hold an Upper Second Class BSc(Hons) in Microbiology and Molecular Biology, and an Upper Second Class MSc in Environmental Pollution and Remediation. My main interest is the remediation of contaminated soils and groundwater, including environmental risk assessment and impact assessment. I also hold strong interests in sustainable development and agriculture, and the quality of freshwater ecosystems.A particular interest of mine lies in the symbiotic interactions between crop plants and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and their potential to improve crop production and overall global food security. This interest is emphasised in my undergraduate and postgraduate projects.
