Responsibilities and achievements: • Managing a significant review of all support activity across Redbridge Council, with a £25m scope including HR, Finance, ICT, Commissioning, Strategy, Project Management, Data, Legal Service and Communications directorates • Developing a bespoke methodology identifying the functions and processes that constituted support activities opportunities and delivered recommendations for how services should be transformed, reduced or stopped • Designing a new innovative operational model with savings in excess of £6m • Leading engagement with cabinet members presenting organisational vision alongside key findings and issues, setting out the risks and financial and operational impacts of the proposals

Responsibilities and achievements: • Strategic leadership of the Financial Strategy Programme Board, developing, managing and monitoring an Outcome Based Budgeting Methodology applied to all activity across Camden Council • Programme management of innovative savings proposals totalling in excess of £70m - seeking to ensure the organisation could still contribute towards key policy outcomes with less resource • Promoted and facilitated radical and innovative service design • Leadership of 12 Project Managers

• Service review and cost saving analysis within Camden’s areas of high customer contact • Leaderships of a team of project managers to propose innovative and more efficient ways of delivering services • Development of business cases for multi-million pounds invest to save proposals including detailed three-year implementation plans • Led large projects to improve the online offer for customers of the Council, including development of a cross cutting strategy to encourage customers to interact differently with the Council • Led cross departmental teams to instigate ‘systems thinking’ process redesign • Managed the tender process for the £1 million-pound procurement of consultancy services
