This job is very demanding, the fast pace nature of the business requires me to an adaptable and dynamic person in everyday situations. My main responsibility is to ensure that customers receive the best possible service I can give. This is achieved by remaining polite and professional when serving on tills and being able to assist them on the shop floor. Customer service is also delivered by ensuring stock is replenished and kept tidy. My other roles are back of house, I have been trained in stockroom duties like delivery procedures, waste disposal procedures, recycling and bailing. Management rely on staff to assist in completing there daily duties. I can expect to be given paperwork and other tasks that other retailers might retain just for management.
