Weekly gas pipeline survey by R44 helicopter with crew comprising of Pilot and surveyor, covering England, Scotland and Wales.Managing the patrol each week comprises of sighting reporting via laptop, planning and booking of route and fuel stops, navigation in poor weather, planning and booking of overnight stops, helicopter refuelling and cleaning, liaising with National Grid IRO sightings and routes being flown, booking into restricted and sensitive areas, weather collating / planning and safety lookout whilst flying.

Recruited for all trades and branches within the RAF, with my specialism being Officers, ATC and Aircrew.Recruiting duties included interviews, casework, management checks of case files, chairing office meetings, deputising for OC, inventory holder and vehicle fleet manager.Managed 20 staff, duties included welfare, leave, 6/12 month reports and assessments, grievances, staff training and mentoring, new staff interviews and leasing with senior management on all aspects of recruiting office.

A Propulsion Technician and supervisor having worked on Fast Jets, Helicopters and Transport aircraft over an 18 year period.Work covered engines, APU, gearboxes, fuel systems, anti-icing and cabin conditioning, air to air refuelling with some cross over into electrics and airframes.Maintenance levels included flight line, scheduled, deep strip / rebuild and modification.H&S, COSHH and working at height trained.
