I direct all operations at the ExxonMobil Beaumont Complex including the Refinery, Chemical Plant, Blending & Packaging site, and Polyethylene Plant. This is one of the largest sites in the world as well as one of the largest operations in our company. I manage a team of over 40 personnel covering multiple lines of business such as Fire Services, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Respiratory Protection, Atmospheric Monitoring and Gas Detection, and Safety Training. Our operations are paramount to not only ExxonMobil’s day to day routine maintenance but also that of the various contractors nested within the complex.

My department is the Quality, Compliance, and Training division within the company. We handle multiple facets within the organization. From a Quality standpoint I regularly perform Quality Incident Reviews from a customer complaint, internal audit, or other internal incident stand-point. Typically these require a Root Cause Analysis and follow-up with the client. Corrective Actions are assigned and completed to ensure the incident is corrected. On the Compliance side I work with a team of highly talented individuals setting up In-Plant Service Centers within refineries large and small throughout the country. The locations serve a vital role in ensuring clients' inspections on key items are current and maintained. Lastly, from the Training point of view, I assist with performing internal training for our employees, external training for our clients, established Standard Operating Procedures for company-wide use, and assisting with building training programs. I work side by side with all levels of management on various projects large and small to continue to better our company and better the customer experience.

***Handling all of your technical rescue needs offshore, refineries, pipeline, & construction.***My position with Total Safety is over Upstream Rescue services; however, over the past year I have helped to open up several new business ventures for the company that weren't utilized in the past. I have positioned the company to be able to teach OSHA Confined Space Rescue courses to customer's employees who may not necessarily perform rescue on a regular basis but who might assist a 3rd party rescue service in the event of a rescue. I've also established a Lifeline Service in which our Fall Protection Technicians go out and not only inspect various lifelines that are in use, but also survey the work area for installing new temporary/semi-permanent lifeline solutions. Currently this service is offered to customers both offshore and on land.On the Rescue side I coordinate rescue projects with different offices within our company, I work with customers to schedule and set up rescue teams for their specific needs, I perform regular and required refresher training for our rescue technicians to stay current with all OSHA and NFPA guidelines. I also function as a rescue tech on high profile projects as the lead technician. All life saving equipment inspections and routine maintenance is performed and logged by me.

As the Safety & Training Manager I performed day to day operations in running the company, handled sales calls and meetings, coordinated/scheduled/delivered OSHA safety training, as well as various other functions. My position was intricate in all departments involving employees who performed stand by rescue, safety audits and inspections, as well as routine maintenance of all life saving equipment. I functioned as the lead safety instructor, rescue team supervisor, and safety inspection lead.

As an Adjunct Instructor I delivered various NFPA courses to career & volunteer fire departments in the state. I taught both classroom styled courses utilized mostly lecture, slideshow presentations, and videos; as well as hands-on practical evolutions. The courses included topics in Fire, Rescue, Hazmat, EMS, Incident Command, Investigation, Inspection, and emergency vehicle operations to list a few.

Firefighter, hazardous materials technician, vehicle extrication, apparatus driver/operator, equipment testing and inspection, as well as public education and pre-incident surveying.

Provided firefighting and EMS services for the airport and all tenants on the facility. Operated Crash/ARFF fire apparatus and performed Hazmat services as well.
