I am a current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at Medic Ambulance Service, where I provide emergency treatments, monitor and administer medication, and educate the public about first-aid techniques. I am certified by the Sacramento County and the U.S. National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT), and I have skills in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED). I am also pursuing a Computer Science degree at Consumes River College, after graduating from Franklin High School with a high school diploma. In my role as an EMT, I work with a team of paramedics, nurses, and doctors to respond to 911 calls, drive and staff ambulances, and give medical staff critical health information about patients. I also dress wounds or injuries, put patients on defibrillators and ventilators, and support the recovery process. I am passionate about saving lives, helping people, and learning new skills. I aspire to combine my interests in computer science and emergency medicine to create innovative solutions for the health care industry. I believe I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as well as a strong work ethic, a collaborative attitude, and a willingness to learn.
