Jonathan Love is a Gastroenterologist and Therapeutic Endoscopist in Calgary, Alberta. Originally from Ontario, he studied medicine at Queen's, and after his Internal Medicine residency in Toronto and a GI subspecialty in Edmonton, he did a fellowship in Therapeutic Endoscopy with Professor Michel Cremer in Brussels Belgium.He is the former Medical Director of Endoscopy for the Calgary Zone and Head of Therapeutic Endoscopy. Dr. Love is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at The University of Calgary with an interest in Post Graduate Medical Education in GI Endoscopy. In 2013 he was given the Faculty of Medicine's Continuing Medical Education award for his work in colon upskilling and training and is on the national faculty for the Skills Enhancement in Endoscopy (SEE) Program that is sponsored by the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology.He now divides his time between a private practice in Fergus, Ontario and tertiary care therapeutic endoscopy in Calgary.
