The Product Engineer for the T274, an ultra class diesel-electric mining haul truck. The Product engineer directs and coordinates activities involved in fabrication, application, installation, and repair of mechanical or electromechanical products and systems. The role is responsible for the product from Request for Quotation (RFQ) until commissioning in the field and is responsible to ensure that the projects surrounding the truck model meet the required cost targets, technical specifications, and are completed within the projected timeline.The position requires working with cross-functional teams, to ensure that the truck meets the requirements of the various groups within the company. The role also requires coordinating and communicating engineering activities to the rest of the company.

Work with a cross-functional team to design and develop new LED recessed lighting fixtures for the commercial market under Eaton's Portfolio brand. To date, I've used Eaton's PROLaunch process (Eaton's stage-gate oriented business process) to launch 6 new product offerings to replace existing CFL, incandescent, or metal halide fixtures, or added unique LED offerings to the commercial downlight market.
