Parts Sales & Technical Engineer
Current• Assisting with parts enquiries from customers/agents and supporting respective sales coordinators accordingly• Creating of spare parts within SAP and updating sales prices according to pricelists and pricing strategies• Working and planning with MAN Sales Team/Agents to plan after-sales strategies for existing and potential customers • Checking all parts enquiries for their technical suitability to ensure fit, form and function• Providing alternative solutions to obsolete part numbers or third-party vendor items installed on MAN engines• Collaborating with Engine Sales / Project / Service team members to prepare technical evaluations on repowering or newbuild projects• Monitoring stock levels of all parts and preparing stocks as necessary• Preparing annual stock consumption trends and patterns for review and further action• Managing part discrepancies such as stock damage or short supplies to claim or put up for scrap• Managing all purchase orders for MAN Spare parts to support sales and project requirements• Preparing purchase orders for third-party vendors and negotiating for better pricing and payment terms• Monitoring parts’ delivery dates and updating on backorders or urgent requests• Working with MAN Export Control to ensure compliance on dual-use or sensitive goods• Preparing draft export control documentation for dual-use goods to facilitate sales processes and order deliveries• Checking and confirming requested parts to be of a nonrestrictive nature for export control assessment
