Milestone was founded in Milan in 1996, and is now Italy’s foremost videogame developer on consoles and PC. A team of 35 compose Koch Media’s Italian subsidiary, business areas include distribution of media products, including movies, videogames and software products, and games publishing under the Deep Silver label. The biggest achievement was the successful development and implementation of a forecasting process to align financial and production objectives minimizing stock exposure while maximizing sales revenue. The new process resulted in an inventory reduction of 10% per month (30k units) while also reducing retailer stock outs by 20%.
