About Jonathan Luke Devitt

I’m an IT professional with over a decade and a half of experience in both enterprise and government environments not only at the desktop level, but also with local area networks. I’ve spent my fair share of time in server rooms patching cable and making drops hot. I’ve helped network teams install new switches, routers, firewalls, network devices and VoIP desk phones. Also helped troubleshoot wireless network issues and network outages. I’ve created computer and user accounts in Active Directory, joined devices to the domain, configured distribution/security groups and folder/file permissions. I’ve done a lot of imaging, data migration, Windows/macOS upgrades/updates (WIN7 - WIN10 - WIN11), driver updates and hardware/software upgrades/installs. Installed printers (TCP/IP & Print Server) and provided ongoing printer maintenance; break fix repair and toner/ribbon/print head/fuser replacement. I’ve setup/configured/migrated Microsoft Exchange Accounts from 07 to On Premise to On the Cloud and am proficient in Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel. Also setup end users in Google Suite with Gmail, Google Calendar and showed them how to use Google Drive.I’ve traveled a lot for work over the years, worked in multicultural environments and even lived in Hawaii for a couple of years. So what I’m looking for now is a home to put my experience, skills and knowledge to good use on a more permanent basis!
