Current- Supervises the work of relevant mechanical (HVAC/Plumbing&Sanitary/Fire Protection/ Electrical/Elevators/Swimming Pool) Contractors to ensure quality and that constructions/installations are in accordance with drawings, specifications and local regulation. Act as a focal point to the Client, Project Management, Designer, and to the Manager of Department.- Puts into place quality assurance procedures to ensure that procedures for review and inspection of installation are maintained throughout the project period.- Reviews shop drawings to ensure that they are in accordance with the specifications. Coordinate with the Client/ Project Management/ Designer/ Manager of Department and obtain their comments prior for implementation. - Reviews shop drawings to ensure that they are in accordance with the design and that they are coordinated. Where applicable, receive feedback from the Site Engineer, as per inspection, Inspector or Designer and incorporate their comments.- Review method statement to ensure that the Contractor proposal is feasible and will achieve the intended purpose.- Inspects Deliveries/ Installed/ constructed work to ensure that it is accordance with the shop drawings and the specifications.- Drafts the Contract negotiation and submits the same for finalization and approval to the Project Manager and owner of the project.- Responsible for the execution of the contracts of various contractors and suppliers.- Coordinate to Contractor/Subcontractor, Project Management, Designer and Owner on design and construction issues.- To represent the departments by attending meetings and conferences regarding Project Management, together with Architects, customer, consultants and contractors. These meetings include discussion of construction progress, problem solving, coordination, monitoring of safety and security measures, etc.
