-As a Logistics Advisor, primarily will advise on logistics, property management and training support in support of US AFRICOM. -Recommend and support actions to build, maintain, and enhance AFRICOM's logistics strategy to improve logistical infrastructure and networks. -Enable a rapid pivot from steady-state environment to contingency response operations.-Provide support to the African Peacekeeping Rapid Response Partnership (APRRP) to the Ghanaian Armed Forces. -Coordinating with AFRICOM component commands and other strategic and operational partners to identify and document courses of actions in order to develop the logistics strategy, mitigate the gaps and seams to logistically set the theater, and increase logistics capability throughout the AFRICOM AOR.-Develop logistic-focused assessments that detail and analyze current logistics capabilities, logistics challenges, and risks affecting the AFRICOM AOR, and planned future logistics capabilities.-Reviewing and documenting component lessons learned from operational movements and exercises and from information gathered through working groups, boards, conferences, etc.-Assist the GAF to strengthen and institutionalize capabilities and processes to plan, rapidly deploy, and establish future peace operations within the area of critical deployment enablers: Aviation, Engineering, Logistics, and Medical capabilities.-Assist the GAF build and institutionalize capabilities that enable self-sustainment of rapid deployment mechanisms.-Assist with the coordination between US Agencies and GAF units for APRRP future training.-Identify key shortfalls for RDL equipment and training.-Assist with the improvement of the GAF equipment lifecycle process.
