I am Kiers subject matter expert and initial point of contact for all bespoke mobile applications across the full software development lifecycle, numbering 40+ applications. My current role involves full stakeholder management, business analysis, requirement capture and managing documentation through to final project sign-off including the creation of testing plans and lead application testing. I act as the conduit between our business and our Xamarin developers making sure that all projects adhere to budget/deadline constraints and I am fully experienced in utilising enterprise standard tools for interface development, allowing for the creation of applications that deliver a key user experience within Kier.Key Accomplishments:• Key role in the move from a waterfall PRINCE approach to application development through to a SCRUM agile development delivery cycle that allowed Kier to deliver apps in days/weeks as opposed to months/years previously• 40+ business critical applications delivered successfully with Construction, Utilities, Fleet, Housing & Maintenance, Nuclear, Kier Living, Environmental, HR and IT sectors within Kier PLC.• Central part of the Innovation team created by Kier ExCo to foster innovation within Kier. Projects included working with Google. Vodaphone and Highways England on ground-breaking Cognitive roadside safety technology. • Authorship of Kier standard documentation for best practice requirement gathering that was adopted throughout IT• Main driver in the adoption of Xamarin platform within Kier that allows for the reuse of up to 80% of code base across iOS, Android and Windows platforms• Helped establish a full Application Lifecycle management process within VSTS that is now used across our systems estate• Self-Funding Agile Business Analysis foundation and practitioner qualifications through Knowledge Academy

As Mobile System Analyst, I resolved queries and technical issues of central IT server team, maintained and supported on-site domain controllers, file and print servers, PCs, laptops, telephone systems, networks, and switches. I methodically installed Dameware, remote software, and conferencing equipment to ensure seamless communication between project stakeholders. I was involved in updating management and client on project and area updates through monthly IT meetings. I effectively satiated business requirements and managed purchasing for projects; additionally, I oversaw site start-ups and fulfilled network and computing needs. As an IT Administrator at Kier North West, I managed the systems and support in the North West region, consisting of seven main offices and many construction sites. I was in charge of the IT budget for the North West, with all purchases being authorised by myself and the Directors. I assisted in the formulation of disaster recovery plans for the North West, including backups and storage offsite, and implemented an IT induction program and training for individual users and groups. I also updated working practices with documentation and audit trails, and inputted into Board reports each month with North West updates.Other tasks included maintaining and supporting the on site Domain controllers, file and print servers, telephone systems, networks and switches, and monitoring and updating all North West assets, including PCs, printers, servers and 3G cards.I had direct contact with the Communications Rep regarding site start-ups, ordering and completion of network and computer needs. I also set up and maintained training room equipment for internal sessions.
