Operations Officer (Nco)
Current- Monitors operations to ensure that customers receive timely, accurate, consistent and useful information on train status when trains are delayed by operational issues- Communicates with internal stakeholders on the status of train information during delays, service disruptions and when there is transportation of customers by other means- Manages, ensures and updates the information in the systems when the automated mode is not available. Keep remote routes and communities updated through numerous points of contacts- Works closely with operations controllers to ensure consistency in all communications;- Produces various weekly/monthly/annual operations reports and ensures that the information remains pertinent as well as consistent- Updates the train performance message in VIAnet during service disruptions and train delays. Perform daily updates on train marshalling information and Service Manager lists
