I am responsible for supporting our Data Centre Infrastructure, which consists of a large virtualised environment across multiple Microsoft Hyper-V Hosts. This includes on-going maintenance of Dell, Cisco, Microsoft and Fortinet hardware and software implementations, kit refreshes and ensuring we get the best performance from our infrastructure.Additional to the above I am also part of the Hosted Desktop Migrations Team, responsible for moving customers from On-Premise Server Solutions to a Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS) environment that we provision in our infrastructure. This involves auditing the existing On-Premise Infrastructure, building the new RDS platform, migrating the customers to Office 365 and securely migrating their production data and applications to the new Hosted Desktop.
