I work within the Q-NEXT national QIS research center at Argonne to push forward the science and engineering of quantum systems, working with both silicon quantum dot qubits as part of the Chicago Quantum Computing Testbed (in collaboration with Intel), and nitrogen vacancy centers in diamond with the Quantum Information Science Group.

Advisor: David Awschalom, Pritzker School of Molecular EngineeringThesis: Interactions Between Nitrogen-Based Spin Defects in DiamondI studied the decoherence of nitrogen vacancy (NV) centers in diamond, a leading candidate for quantum sensing applications, arising from noisy electronic spin baths that co-exist with NV centers in the diamond host. I also developed measurements to probe single particle dynamics of substitutional nitrogen defects.
