I have been working as an Electrician across varied ranges of industrial sites on LV electrical systems including; ABP Docks, LID & LINCS wind turbines (Centrica) South Humber Power Station, National Grid and CRO ports, working alongside HV in new substation fit outs for Siemens (hull) and daily work on ABP (hull and Immingham).working nationwide which requires me to travel and work away occasionally.Working daily under risk assessments, method statements permit to work and inductions taken on the majority of sites I have a good understanding of hazards and the risks they present.I work on a vast array of equipment and machinery such as pumps, motors, lifts, control equipment, power, Lighting and distribution. Using my knowledge for fault rectification in accordance with regulations and company procedures on time sensitive situations I have the ability to work resourcefully under pressure. I work as part of a team on a day to day basis but also lead teams and run jobs when the opportunity has risen. I’ve also had Centrica training and experience being an authorised person on the wind turbine, to be responsible for my team and to accept paperwork from the senior authorised person and to work under approved work instructions.As well as emergence call out situation I as am involved with new and existing building on upgrades to the electrical systems for both fault prevention and environment aspects.Working in high risk areas such Gas sites, working at height and locations close to or at sea safety is my number one paramount. I am Responsible for my own vehicle, tools and the well being of trainees and apprentices daily.

Working as an Electrician in Industrial and Commercial Premises Nationwide. With safety being paramount I was working under risk assessments and method statements, every job was under permit to work and I am competent in understanding and working safely. Predominantly working in food factories including Young’s and Icelandic Seachill. I was part of a team that installed, replaced and overhauled electrical systems to provide reliability for production purposes. To do this I had to be flexible with work by managing time, resources and staff effectively to complete job on time. Working on LV Systems, Alarm Systems and production control was part of the day to day tasks set. I was responsible for maintenance of buildings for fault prevention by providing periodic inspection, test and commissioning of electrical, control and safety systems. Always striving to meet exceptional standards of workmanshipWhist at Lincs Electrical the commercial jobs that I came across included the maintenance work for the local fire stations, Grimsby University and North East Lincolnshire council buildings. These included work on schools and offices which had hazards that we had to manage on a continual basis. The work consisted from Lighting and power upgrades to full refurbishments of buildings.I was Responsible for apprentice training, a team of electricians and the ordering of materials for the task to provide time efficiency for the job I was managing.

Started my electrical career out in 2006 I was an electrical apprentice contracting in domestic, commercial and light industry premises. I completed my apprenticeship doing majority domestic and commercial work, being involved with the design and installation of LV electrical systems into new and existing property, continuously develop techniques, skills and knowledge to improve personal contribution.I was able to efficiently trouble shoot with electrical faults, fault rectification in accordance with regulations. Inspect, test and certify any work that I had done, this included full EICR to minor work certs. During this time my role I learnt the customer and client facing skills being with a small company.
