Currently working as Lead BA on the 3rd Phase of LGIM's Strategic Target Operating Model programme, predominately focused on ABOR Financial Reporting and a SAAS tool implementation for NAV Oversight.

MIFID II Costs and Charges

My current role is a blend of systems accounting, business intelligence and analysis. I supervise a small team who are responsible for the following:Developing and maintaining database and spread sheet solutions for parts of LGIM's financial reporting under IFRS, SII and UK GAAP and BI requirements for L&G Group.Consolidating financial reporting for outsourced funds/entities to L&G Group under IFRS, working with the TPA and other Stakeholders to ensure reports can be delivered to tight deadlines.Reporting and developing systems to allow reporting on exposures to various Countries, Sectors and Issuers/Counterparties.Project work to help move outdated reporting work-streams onto LGIM's preferred systems.Portfolio reporting to ensure collateral funds meet the requirements for sector diversity and credit ratings.Providing look-through reporting for funds that our Internal Client is indirectly exposed to.Meeting the reporting needs of external Clients (PPF, ERI in particular) - general support for our Client Reporting function where needed.Ensuring that any debt that our Internal Client is exposed to has an accurate credit rating, including analysing the debt and deriving a credit rating where one is missing.Analysis of any structured finance deals that LGIM is invested in to ensure that each is correctly categorised for our reporting needs and those of our Clients.

Current project work includes:• Solvency II Pillar 3 asset remediation – identifying differences between SII balance sheet and QRT’s, advising on correct treatment of assets, personally developing solution to bring the balance sheet in line with QRT’s.• Developing a house view for the classification of bonds by industry sector in conjunction with several other SME’s in the business. • Developing a new tactical solution for reporting the breakdown of debt assets for each company in the business, including drill down into outsourced funds (NT, BNY).• Developing a new tactical solution for PPF reporting to external clients, to replace current largely manual asset classification and drill down process (I currently manage this process, across up to 6 levels of funds, 200 funds).I also manage two distinct teams:1. OEIC Financial Reporting, which completes the monthly reporting requirements and semi annual reports and accounts for a £2BN OEIC, as well as the internal accounts for group consolidation. The team is responsible for producing the R&A from initial reconciliations through to typesetting and managing audit with PwC. My background is accounting, I have around 15 years of experience.2. Asset Reporting, which is responsible for developing and maintaining several forms of reporting for internal and external clients across LGIM. We develop reports, mainly in SAP Business Objects and MS Excel, with feeds from various sources (IBOXX, Bloomberg, Quasar etc) to allow the monitoring of various forms of risk or for financial or client reporting purposes. Reports generally start at the level of individual holdings of funds, which we classify in various ways then aggregate to high level reports on exposures.
