Design South East is an independent not-for-profit organisation working across the wider south east, delivering expert design advice, facilitation and training for local authorities, the development sector and communities.

Principally appointed to lead on a priority area within the Croydon Opportunity Area (including the Town Centre) to help unlock several pivotal housing led mixed use schemes, work with Network Rail to deliver new infrastructure around the major transport hub of Croydon Station, as well as engage with several major developers/landowners/funders to bring forward new opportunities. Part of the role also involved close working with Businesses and existing occupiers as well as the local Development Forum. More recently, the role expanded to head up the north of the borough to spearhead focus on new investment in Gateway locations, working with developers, investors and funders to bring forward new mixed use housing led schemes and public realm improvements.

Appointed as a Management Consultant to provide a complete regeneration role pan borough, across land and property matters, in the Housing Development and Regeneration Team, leading a team of professional staff. Key achievements include helping to unlock a number of large key housing led mixed use schemes and implementation of successful regeneration strategies to deliver much needed mixed use developments. Working with development partners, public sector funding was secured to unlock new housing schemes.
