In June 2023, I graduated with my bachelor's in biomedical engineering with a concentration of bioinstrumentation and a minor in Physics at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I have programming experience in MATLAB, Python, C++, JavaFx, and microcontrollers. In June of 2022, I interned for Shifamed's Myra Vision, where I fabricated microfluidic devices, ran flow experiments, performed FEA to simulate flow velocities, and designed test fixtures in SOLIDWORKS.I have also worked on an exoskeleton as a part of Cal Poly's EMPOWER/LLEAP club. My role was to create a simulation of the exoskeleton using Robotics Operating System and Gazebo Physics simulation. This included extensive work preparing models in SOLIDWORKS, assembling an exoskeleton in Gazebo, coding joint control, sending effort data to the simulation for movement, and PID tuning.My undergraduate research interest was in electrical impedance spectroscopy on cells grown in a microfluidic device. I automated cell culture protocols and have been trained in culturing cells. Additionally, I also simulated electrical impedance results on cells using a multi-shell model in MATLAB and COMSOL.
