    COMMUNITY SERVICE EXPERIENCEJul 2020 to date Immaculate Conception Parish Lami, FijiJoined a team of dedicated and concerned volunteers to carry out a comprehensive survey within the Lami corridor, from Delanavesi to Naboro, to see how families are coping with the COVID19 pandemic. The survey took 1 week to complete and covered 1327 homes of various races and religions. My involvement was up to but not limited to;- Part of a 20+ man team who conducted the “house to house” survey- Created database for storing data collected and analyzing this to be able to identify needs & skills - Led the data entry team that recorded survey results- Co-authored the draft of the parish survey report and profile.- Part of the parish team that visited the different faith organizations within the Lami corridor, including the Methodist Church, the Seventh Day Adventist Church, The Jehovah’s Witness, the Wesley City Mission Church, the Church of the Latter Day Saints, and also the Lami District Council of Social Services, to brief them on the findings of the survey and offer to collaborate with them.- Currently a member of the core team involved in a multi-faith-based collaboration focused on providing fully inclusive assistance by developing and running assistance initiatives in association with the Lami District Council of Social Services.- Also involved in organizing a donation drive to be held on Saturday 17th October to commemorate the United Nations International Day for the Eradication of Poverty and will be an integral part of the dispatch of the donations to the needy families.
