STEMCELL Technologies is a Canadian biotechnology company that develops specialty cell culture media, cell isolation systems and accessory products for life science research.My role focuses on enabling the business while minimizing commercial risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. My team is responsible for all aspects of commercial contracts management, compliance (including drafting policy and establishing internal controls) and coordinating with external counsel in multiple jurisdictions on real estate and regulatory matters.

MDA develops and delivers advanced surveillance and intelligence solutions, defence and maritime systems, radar geospatial imagery, space robotics, satellite antennas, and communication subsystemSuccessfully managed a $800M satellite build contract including negotiation of a launch services agreement. Leadership role in key projects and large transactions. Worked successfully with different departments of the company on a number of business pursuits and negotiation of subsequent contracts.

Qualifying as a lawyer in British Columbia and gaining experience in securities and corporate/commercial law.

Worked in a legal support role at boutique litigation firm while I qualified to practice law in British Columbia. (Previously worked as a lawyer in Scotland for 9 years before immigrating to Canada in late 2009.)
