Coordinated freight distribution for 100+ locations across the southern and southwestern United States, including tracking 400+ trailers, dispatching 40+ drivers, and providing on-site support for appliance retail and pallet logistics. I dispatched and supervised drivers for multiple accounts in Fort Worth, Dallas, and Corsicana, TX. Additionally, I remotely supervised freight movement and revenue generation over a geographic area from Arkansas to Arizona and from South Texas to Northern Oklahoma.

552D Operational Support Squadron - Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma

Led team of 11 schedulers, maximizing deployment and training for the base’s 1800 AWACS crewmembers and 28 E-3 Sentry aircraft. Implemented the Wing Flying Hours Program through nation-wide coordination and customer relations, resulting in the expeditionary combat readiness of 38 aircrews and the delivery of weekly customer-unit flight training and 35 successful nation-wide air combat exercises, despite a mandated 10% fiscal year flight-hour reduction. Through process-improvement, maintained monthly, weekly and daily schedules of aircraft parking, launch, return and maintenance. Navigator and instructor for the AWACS with over 2,100 flight-hours in tactical and strategic missions.

Led five-person team, managing 18 errorless fiscal programs for $88K budget during high-visibility unit compliance inspection. Ensured 320 members’ spending and travel accountability during Libyan and counter-drug operations. Trained and documented in-flight, simulator and trans-oceanic procedures for junior flyers. 961St Airborne Air Control Squadron, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan

Hand-selected for Air Force’s Flight Safety Officer (FSO) Course, a one-month program at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico. FSO certification includes both unit and base level program management, incorporating federal (OSHA) and US Air Force safety standards with those of host nation governments, including the Government of Japan. It also qualifies the graduate for quick-response mishap investigation, including privileged early access to aircraft crash sites. As FSO, promoted a positive occupational safety culture and managed aviation risk-management programs for over 150 AWACS personnel in the base’s largest flying unit. Monitored personnel for compliance and compiled various weekly and monthly safety reports for management. Supplemented base-level aircraft mishap-response, investigation, and inspection teams at a key overseas multi-aircraft hub with ongoing strategic and cargo missions. Routinely investigated equipment damage and analyzed data for trends and waste. Commended for rewriting the squadron’s flying operational risk management program, incorporating significant hazard controls for training, cumulative fatigue, and unique operating challenges to ensure continued safe ground and flight operations. Flew crucial national-security missions during this time.

As a flight-deck aircrew member, determined planning requirements and weather conditions and coordinated navigation routing, fuel status and computer procedures while executing complex early warning surveillance missions and worldwide deployments. Notable flight duties included Presidential escort, humanitarian relief missions, and in-flight testing with emerging F-22 fighters. As the officer-in-charge of the Ability-to-Survive-and-Operate/Full-Spectrum-Threat-Response program, reinvigorated the crisis response programs for a 330-person squadron. Routinely trained personnel on Self-Aid/Buddy-Care (field first-aid). Ensured compliance with natural and chemical disaster response, including facility shelter-in-place program: credited by external staff inspection with a 10% increase in Nuclear/Biological/Chemical training. Maintained 330 passports and short-notice identification badge program. Standardized, tracked and documented the mobility recall process, including after-hours, emergency, and short-notice deployment notification for 330 members.
