Provided support with R&D in product development of polymer materials from extrusion and injection molding processes. Perform many FDA audits successfully.• Provided annual saving of from scrap and rework reduction of 40% for our high-volume products resulting in savings of $300K annual.• Provided annual saving of over $1.2MM annually from labor, line consolidation and process efficiencies applying Theory of Constraints concepts increasing the output and addressing bottlenecks constraints.• Built and designed a state-of-the-art controlled Extruder and Extrusion room to make highly precision thin-walled tubing and taper tubing for various polymer materials: HDPE, Pebax, Hytral, CFEX and Nylon. Saving of $400K annual.• Built and designed a top-grade Machine Shop to provide in-house needs for Manufacturing and R&D departments.• 2 years a key member of the Safety team that drove injuries recordable rate from 9.10 to 1.13 occurrences per month for 300 plus employees.• Created Key inspection and monitors for all production lines to ensure no recalls occur from the field. Zero recalls since implementation in 2012.• Provided speed improvement for the Fiber Tower to increase fiber production capacity 30%.
