Manufacturing Supervisor
Current-Day to day running of production facility, including manufacturing, coordination and planning to ensure efficient and effective operation (all manufacturing activities are carried out with grade B and class 100) in accordance with GMP- Active participation in Simulated Media Fills, Validation trials, NPIs - Supervision of team of operators at various levels of experience (L2-L5) and acting as subject matter expert (SME) - Maximising output and efficiency while identifying opportunities to drive improvements - Provision of timely, detailed and accurate reports on status of manufacturing operations, alerting senior management of any issues which may impact on finished product - Creating and reviewing procedures and documentations associated with manufacturing processes including batch records, SOPs, Study Protocols (Simulated Media Fills, Validation trials) - Ensuring cleaning of equipment is carried out in accordance with relevant approved and validated procedures to provide cross contamination control - Liaising with other departments and working as part of cross functional team- Actively engaging in continuous improvement projects (minimising rejects and waste reduction); use of lean tools such as: 5S, Standard Work, identification of non-value added activities - Conducting investigations into non-conformances and unwanted occurrences within Trackwise system, while implementing root cause analysis tools such as 5Whys, Fishbone, FMEA - Ensuring that team members are fully trained providing coaching and on the job training including various aspects of manufacturing processes - Ensuring that all EHS aspects of activities are maintained and adhered to - Raising any safety concerns using Effective System - Raising PEMAC records for maintenance department.- Involved in internal and external audits including VMD, FDA I'm also acting as active fire sweeper
