SmartZip is a leader in big data, predictive analytics and multi-channel marketing automation in the Real Estate and Lending verticals. As the VP of Sales I strategized with the executive leadership team to create sales, marketing, product-roll out and business-development strategies to drive revenue. I was fortunate to oversee the inside sales, enterprise sales, business development, renewal, retention and client service departments. My ability to be agile, combined with my driven and hands-on mentality, enabled me to build each of these departments from the ground up, including setting manager and director level support to scale successfully.In my time at Smartzip, I:- Increased company revenue an average of 162% year-over-year- Shortened sales cycle from 14 days to 5 days, while increasing ASP 33% - Orchestrated sales territory expansions, and assembled new management and operational teams to enable SmartZip to grow from a pure SMB focus to include ecommerce and enterprise accounts - Collaborated with the VP of Marketing to develop strategic partnerships, new campaigns and tradeshow strategies that increased inbound leads - Implemented software applications, including Salesforce, Marketo, Hoopla, DocuSign, Outreach, Xactly and Transverse, to increase productivity and revenue across multiple departments- Cultivated a positive company culture and improved the account executive retention rate
