I started Pelloby Welding and Fabricating cranes from 500kgs to over 100 tons to an extremely high standard also mechanical fitting cranes with mechanical assemblies, hydraulics, pneumatics. On site servicing repair and electrical fault finding and installation of the cranes. I then move on to the service team Servicing mainly but not limited to overhead gantry cranes and post jibs. Working on a variety of rope and chain hoists doing a thorough inspection throughout the whole crane, checking all functions to make sure that it is safe to use. Completing a full-service report for the customer and office ranging from Loler, Puwer and Report of thorough. Arranging for parts if needed. Electrical and mechanical fault finding and fixing. Liaising with the customer and the office. Working nationally and staying overnight when required.

My duties as a mig and tig welder fabricator were to work to a very high standard and tolerances in a fast-paced working environment to read engineering drawing accurately and quick-thinking skills were utilized to prioritize and manage tasks to meet deadlines and completing work to BSI standards, also using an Amada press brake, CNC milling machine and trumpf punch.

I worked as a mig, tig and arc welder fabricator in order to carry out the job. Including working from detailed drawings and blueprints to customer specifications. I have the ability to calculate exact dimensions to fabricate and weld. Hands on experience in effective use of power and hand tools, including sandblaster, milling machine, and lathe. Experience in a fast-paced shop and site work.

I worked as a marquee erector, this also encapsulated a range of skills including carpentry, highly complex electrics, programmable media sound systems, and lighting rigs. I often used my own initiative and skilled attention to detail in order to provide professional displays for a range of events, such as weddings and fashion shows. This is seasonal work and has been unsuitable as a full-time occupation. I particularly enjoyed this work as it was very hands-on and provided my first opportunity to develop quick and unconventional thinking.
