Jonathan is a professional sailor who has had success in many areas of elite yacht racing. He has won 2 Olympic medals, including a Gold Medal in 1984. He has won World Championships in a wide variety of classes, most recently as tactician for the winning team at the 2010 Melges 24 Worlds. He has competed in 2 Americas Cups, and the Volvo Ocean Race, Barcelona World Race, and Mini Transat. He aslo regularly writes about sailing, and has a 44' racer/cruiser in Seattle, which he cruises each summer with his family.

Cypress Property Development is focussed on developing in-fill residential properties in the close-in Seattle market. We specialize in green development, particularly energy efficiency. We are working in high amenity, pedestrian friendly locations, and try to develop good quality, affordable housing for a new generation of Seattle buyers. Our most recent project is located at 1801 19th Ave. Seattle. It involves renovation of an existing 1904 era house, and development of 3 new townhomes in a mature Capitol Hill neighborhood.
