Oscillating between observation and abstraction, biophysical studies confirmed my desire toward a mechanistic understanding of cellular machineries. In an attempt to better understand the particularities of nature, I spent two summers studying the structural dynamics of different molecular motors, only to come away feeling like there are more mysteries unsolved. However, the mentorship I received balanced the challenging natural of research. For me, these human moments, inside and outside of lab, did not only catalyze the scientific investigations and cultivate my scientific curiosity but ,also enrich my research and life experiences.
