Responsible for the safe supervision and direction of up to six direct reports operating in both production and mine geology roles. Additionally charged with ensuring the successful supervision and execution of multi-million-dollar drill projects across all phases of the capitalized life cycle (target identification, budgeting, drilling, reporting, QAQC, model handoff).

Responsible for the safe and accurate routing of multiple ore types across three different processing facilities in a very complex Carlin Style deposit. Additionally responsible for weekly, monthly and quarterly reconciliation and drill progressing reporting as well as the development and management of multi-million-dollar grade control, de-risk, and growth drill programs.

In my role as a resource development geologist I am responsible for the coordination and execution of all development and operation activities for three geologically distinct regions within the Delaware Basin, totaling over 25,000 acres of Apache leasehold. To date I have safely preformed the following key responsibilities for 20 + wells in varied and structurally complex geological settings, creating cost saving pad designs, facilitating cost saving well designs, and identifying responsible salt water disposal locations. ● Planning, coordinating, and executing innovative full lease development strategies in a highly integrated multidiscipline team.● Concurrently directing 24hr geological operations on up to 4 rig lines in close coordination with Drilling Engineers and Mudloggers.● Providing geological guidance for completions designs. ● Presenting technical findings to senior management for project validation and approval.● Strategically designing and executing multi target-multi well pads.● Identifying and minimizing surface and subsurface geological drilling hazards through the integration a suite of seismic attribute maps in coordination with Well Design Engineers and Geo-Steering. ● Generating high quality geological prognoses, leading pre-spud meetings, and coordinating closely with land and regulatory to insure full compliance of lease terms, permitting, water protection, and field rules.

Responsible for grade control and safe mining operations in multiple underground workings over several underground levels, simultaneously monitoring and directing up to 20 personnel and active headings. • Significantly increased ore production and extended mine life in narrow vein systems through the close supervision of mining activities and the development of transverse structural models across regional faults.

Operations GeoscientistResponsible for handling all geological tasks associated with pre, mid, and post drilling operations in support of offshore Gulf of Mexico exploration activities (US and Mexico). ● Designing and directing safe downhole data acquisition (MWD + Wireline)● Monitoring and directing 24hr drilling operations both in office and onsite (onshore + offshore).● Preparing daily drilling and geological operations reports.● Providing real-time updates to geologic models for well target optimization.Exploration GeoscientistGulf of Mexico and Permian Basin Prospect Generation ● Regional to prospect level assessment across North and South America and GOM.● Creation of geological/geophysical interpretations on 2D and 3D seismic data across multiple software platforms. ● Well correlation and large volume data integration across multiple basins and depositional settings. ● Risking of relevant hydrocarbon system components and generating volumetric models.● Close coordination with internal and partner Reservoir, Drilling, Facilities, Planning, Land. ● Detailed evaluation of multiple farm-in/farm-out opportunities across North and South america.● Delaware Basin cradle to grave prospect maturation and wildcat appraisal drilling resulting in significant Wolfcamp oil discovery.

• Subsalt Middle Miocene prospect generation, utilizing recently acquired 3D WAZ and well log data.• Internship resulted in a successful deepwater prospect “Red Bull” validated and bid on in the 2016 Western GOM lease sale.

Research focuses on the development of geophysical remote sensing methods for use in the discovery of subsurface lunar lava tubes. Lunar lava tubes may contain significant consecrations of water ice and mineral resources, providing an opportunity for long surface/subsurface exploration. Throughout research process I have performed significant data acquisition, processing, and interpretation using several computer applications and pioneered methods.
