I grew up in a small town in the Harz Mountains. Due to my interest in ancient Greek myths, I first learned Latin and then ancient Greek. During these lessons, I became familiar with the ancient philosophers and their ideas. In particular, we often spent nights discussing ideas about the structure of the state and what makes a good government with friends. My voluntary work in the church also brought me closer to ways of thinking about a functioning society, not just in theory but also in practice. Because of my experiences there, I was advised to study business administration. I wanted to learn how to organize and structure in order to implement solutions efficiently. As this wasn't practical enough for me as a pure degree course, I did a dual degree. I then worked at the company for 2 more years and studied Economics, Finance, and Philosophy, which I completed with a Master's degree. I then worked in an IT-related role in the banking and insurance sector. This allowed me to get to know and understand efficiency and collaboration from a different perspective.At the same time, the stories detailed in the book "The Dictatorship of Law", until yet just published in German "Die Diktatur des Rechts", developed. At some point during these contacts with the authorities, I realized that the German state administration had come to a standstill in the 19th century. This doesn't just mean the paper-based formality, but the entire way of implementation and management. It seems that the employees there still believe in an absolute truth and perfect results that they would achieve if only they were given enough time and power. The aim of the book is to make a start in waking up the state administration from its slumber and to lead it towards its purpose of providing solutions for society.
