I have 30 years experience in economic development, working in 35 countries, mainly in Africa, Asia and the edges of Europe. I have worked with donors (WB, DFID/FCDO and the European Commission), consultancies (Ove Arup, Coffey International and Oxford Policy Management) and a 'think tank' (Overseas Development Institute). I have managed teams delivering development projects of up to 35 professionals and a decade of Senior Management Team experience. I am a published author on private sector development in inclusive and sustainable agriculture and prop-poor tourism and lecture at the Sorbonne in Paris and Guildford Business School in the UK and enjoys mentoring colleagues. His main interests are private sector development, market systems development, evaluation and practical solutions which work on the ground.
