Responsible for improving the Project Management and Portfolio Management capabilities and disciplines at the Actuarial Services Division such as quality assurance, financial control, status reporting, scheduling, deliverable tracking, and risk, issue, quality and scope management into the Actuarial Services Division.

Providing Project and Portfolio Management advice, support and capability uplift across the portfolio of projects governed by the Corporate Projects Division and Project Governance Committee.

Provided scheduling and program management support for an application development and support team. Key tasks included creation of project schedules and template schedules in the project management application Primavera (P3e), project and portfolio reporting and utilisation of Primavera’s resource analysis and levelling functionality.

Responsible for leading the project management office team on a $20+m software development and implementation program. Successfully implemented fundamental project management practices including, scope , schedule, risk, issue, change control, document, and deliverable management, quality procedures, financial control, and project status reporting. The program won the 2004 Queensland AIPM Project Management Achievement Award for Change Management and was “Highly Commended” at the National Awards.

Responsible for implementation of best practice project management practices at key financial clients. At the London Stock Exchange Jonathan managed the project office team of 5 consultants, supporting the 150+ outsourced project delivery team with best practice change control, deliverables, risks, issues, quality, budget, schedule and documentation practices.
