Responsible for the management, development, documentation and delivery of all building preventative and major maintenance projects for RFDS WA Operations and assets worth $42 million, ensuring relevant design criteria is included within project planning and meets budget parameters, including:- Major capital works projects (valued at $6 million)- Minor capital works projects (valued at $1.6 million) ► Key projects include:▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬✔ Port Hedland Base Redevelopment ($3M budget), construction of a base, offices and patient transfer terminal—inherited a failing project which was running behind schedule and below quality standard and had an ineffective design and inadequate consultation process. ✔ Jandakot Redevelopment—redeveloped the front of the building to create new office space to house the marketing department, CEO, CFO and boardroom. Relocated and installed new data communication systems, built new interiors and installed new fire detection and access control systems, and aircon. ✔ Pre-Phase1 Jandakot Hanger Project —installed a new medical training facility within the building including total refurbishment of existing office space. ✔ Port Hedland, construction of two new build homes for accommodation—design, planning and construction of two new homes. ✔ Meekarratha, demolition of two homes and construction of two new homes—coordinated the demolition and transportation of waste materials allowing for cleared area to construct to new homes. ✔ Derby Base Redevelopment—contracted and consulted with an architect to draw up plans of the original structure and development of new designs incorporating administration office and parking areas. ✔ Broome 3 Phase Development Plan Design—developed concept plan, scope and budget for a two hanger patient transfer centre and future housing development located on a 10,000sqm block at Broome airport.

Brought on board as Maintenance Supervisor/Coordinator in 2004, responsible for maintenance and upgrading of eight villages and surrounding gardens. In recognition of skills and expertise in this area received consistent promotion to positions of greater responsibility. ► Key projects include:▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬✔ Lake Joondalup Lifestyle Village – redevelopment of the clubhouse precinct, gardens and installation of a new larger bowling green. Planned and project managed the refurbishment of the clubhouse including new flooring, painting and large pool upgrade, valued at $150K.✔ Pine View Lifestyle Village – planned and project managed refurbishment of the ablutions in the clubhouse as well as pool refurbishment – painting and carpeting. Led the resurfacing of the Bowling Green. ✔ Bridgewater Lifestyle Village – supervised the installation of the village infrastructure install on behalf of the project team, including roads and gardens, utilities, reticulation and communications networks (underground). Project managed the refurbishment of the clubhouse and building alterations. Wrote the scope and supervised the upgrade of the interior pool and bowling green, reticulation upgrade, installation of grey water systems and various other systems upgrades. Developed and implemented maintenance programs across the village. ✔ Landscaping @ Multiple Village Projects – planned and set up sustainable vegetable gardens complete with chook enclosures and fruit trees in four lifestyle villages. ✔ Communication / Data Networks @ Multiple Village Projects – mapped communication networks – TV, close circuit cameras and access control wiring – across five villages. ✔ Busselton Lifestyle Village – initiated a project to alleviate the chronic water / flooding problem. This entailed installation of a drainage system throughout the village which solved the problem and resulted in rise in house sales.

I established my own landscaping and garden design company working predominantly on residential and commercial contracts. Gained an excellent reputation for managing and delivering projects while sustaining revenue and profit gains within a highly competitive market.

Led a team of up to 120 staff in the design, landscaping and ongoing maintenance of all ministerial residencies. Developed schedules, ordering of all materials, and oversaw works.
