Led a small team that was tasked with creating a functional prototype of a game streaming system in order to allow the Xbox executive leadership to make an informed decision about reentering the game streaming market. Then worked closely with the head of product strategy to understand the product requirements, and then created the system architecture for the xCloud product. Worked closely with engineering and QA to ensure product vision and product implementation stayed aligned.

Hands on developer and architect for the Xbox Backwards Compatibility project. Helped create the architecture and implementation for large parts of the overall system (Xbox 360 Kernel environment emulation, HW/SW interrupt emulation, kernel thread scheduling, memory management, etc.). Product was released in October 2015.

First engineering team member for the Fire TV product. Created architecture and did initial implementation of the product. Then led the technical side of the large M&A effort, doing technical evaluation/integration feasibility of the many tech acquisitions made during the product cycle.

Worked in the Windows OS and Xbox 360 OS teams. Owned or contributed to features including all synchronization primitives, Windows debugging subsystem, process reflection and crash dump support. Debugged critical system failures and did lots of developer mentoring/training.
