During my time at York College, I have excelled at learning new languages, along with working with others to create a web application prototype for SpartsDen, which is an on campus dining center, using SQL, Java, CSS, and HTML. Through the development of this application, I learned how to work with others and divide the workload in even amounts. I also learned how important laying out the foundation of the project is so that the development process is easier. Over the summer, I had an internship at PA CareerLink where I was tasked with creating a pilot iPad application to assist customers logging in and reducing paperwork. During my internship I worked on this alone, and learned how to develop in an iOS setting using Swift and xcode, along with how to use a cloud database to store information. I also developed a website using javascript, CSS, and HTML that could access the data from the JSON cloud database to display customer information to employees.
