Jonathan Napier is the principal of TerraWorx Land Group, Inc, which opened its doors in 2016. He is also a principal at Access Ecological Associates, Inc since 2008. His professional career spans nearly 30 years and has included a diverse array of consulting services, including wetland, protected species, timber, agricultural and land management. Having started his career as a project manager in the Jacksonville, Florida area he has physically delineated thousands of acres of wetland lines, and overseen hundreds of wetland permitting projects, including eight Wetland Mitigation Banks, and large-scale residential developments, as well as mixed-use commercial developments. In addition, he has extensive experience in dealing with complex protected wildlife issues, having written the first Habitat Conservation Plan for the eastern indigo snake in Georgia, working alongside the USFWS within the wood stork at Harris Neck Wildlife Refuge, performing flatwoods salamander assessments/surveys and gopher tortoise relocations. His background with wetland mitigation banks and the associated habitat restoration and management of each on-site community has provided him with firsthand experience and an extensive knowledge base for restoring and working with longleaf pine flatwoods, pine flatwoods, basin swamps, wet pine savannas, cypress sloughs, xeric scrub, and sea oat dunes as well as various other wildlife habitats.
