Commander of a 119 person Aviation Maintenance Company consisting of 6 subordinate units both in garrison and deployed to Afghanistan; responsible for maintaining operational readiness and planning the scheduled maintenance of 32 helicopters valued at over $640 million located at 3 different bases in Afghanistan -Rated as the best of 9 company commanders in a 450 person battalion and the 4th best companycommander out of 41 in a 3,500 person brigade -Maintained helicopter operational readiness rate of 87%, the highest battalion operational readiness rate in Afghanistan from October 2014-May 2015; executed major maintenance on an average of 14% faster than any other maintenance organization in Afghanistan during that same time frame -Directed over 62 contractor aircraft maintainers and 51 contract aircraft refuelers to ensure no degradation in aviation support to coalition troops in eastern Afghanistan despite force cuts of approximately 40%

Led a 15-person attack aviation platoon, both forward deployed to the Middle East and in the U.S; responsible for maintenance, readiness, and employment of 4 Apache Attack Helicopters and 420 pieces of equipment, valued in excess of $100 million-Rated as the best platoon leader in the battalion out of a pool that included 15 platoon leaders-Selected out of a pool that included 7 other peers to deploy to Saudi Arabia and conduct interoperability training with Royal Saudi Land Force’s Apache squadron; resulted in 15 Saudi aviators qualified to fly in formation with US aviators
