I am currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at WES LLC, developing software products to monitor and optimize critical infrastructure, primarily in the area of DCIM.My previous four years have been spent with a company called Concurrent Thinking, developing scalable high performance metric processing systems for data centres. This was using Ruby on Rails, on a Debian Linux platform. Although helping to support and extend this environment, most of my work was centred around C/C++ and Ruby at the back-end. Previous to this, I've worked for a US company developing a semi-autonomous management system for virtual machine provisioning. This was mainly using C++/C# and Perl on Windows. Before this, I was involved for a number of years in developing Linux cluster software, using C, the MPI message passing interface and Linux device drivers. My academic history includes a Ph.D. in Parallel Computing, together with six years as a Research Fellow, developing scalable parallel software for highly parallel machines.
