My name is Jonathan, and I am an experienced legal counsel, currently seeking a new position and previously with the Houston Firefighters' Relief and Retirement Fund as General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer. I have a history of working in governance, contract and legislative negotiations, local government law and litigation, the investment management industry, software as a service, database licensing agreements, and general commercial transactions. I have had long involvement with privacy protection matters. I am skilled in negotiation, legal writing, risk management, employee/ retirement benefits, HR assistance and explaining legal issues to media. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law with law journal editorial experience and graduated from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. I am a member of the American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association and a Fellow of the College of the Texas State Bar.
