I've been in the building industry for over 20 years, starting from painting factory units as a young kid, working my way through getting a trade behind me in Shopfitting & Joinery - working with my hands, building and installing joinery. Along the way, I have also gained extensive experience in CAD/CAM software suitable for the Kitchen/Cabinet/Shopfitting industries - while also learning the ropes of running projects, from the start through to completion and hand-over. I've learned to manage people as a supervisor, including tradespeople to drafters/designers through to production. On top of my passion for all things 'building', I realized I acquired a passion for software and technology for improving systems and business processes. I've worked with ERP (enterprise resource planning) systems and project management software to help streamline the tracking, running, and fulfillment of projects while gaining insight into how the business is going and how and where things can improve.I enjoy learning new skills where and when I can to improve myself and the places I work.
