Within this role working for KGJ Price Rail LTD as an Assistant Project Manager, Delivering all aspects of P-Way & Civil's projects inclusive of construction, design & offering Track Monitoring/technical services for various large Rail clients throughout the United Kingdom.It is my duty to ensure all projects are delivered to completion dates, Resource Management, keeping abreast with programme changes, Managing Design Deliverables (P-Way), Nominated Document Controller, Commercial assistance, Tender scoping (P-Way & Civils), Compliance Management, Fatigue Management, Negotiation skills, leadership, Work package Plan & CRT Management Plan creations.As the appointed NWR IP certified CRT Coordinator for KGJ Price for All Projects, undertaking CRT assessments through the relevant TEF forms in advance of any ballast disturbance works commencing, liasing closely with the Track CRE's to ensure works can be carried out within a safely manner causing no disruption to traffic.

Having Joined Kingfisher in 2012 i was employed as a Foreman carrying out a wide variety of roles and responsibilities, supervising jobs including but not limited to plain line renewals, point conversions, S&C installations, IRJ Installations, IRJ Recoveries, Hollow Sleeper Installations, stressing as well as carrying out IRJ, hollow Sleeper & Point Surveys on several different projects. After 2 years site based at Kingfisher, I was brought into the Office as a technical officer, within the technical officer role I was in charge of CRT Management carrying out Pre CRT-assessments, calculation of CRT & JCT, Inputting CRT Data through the NWR IP Portal creating active CRT Registers. When managing CRT in hot weather i took control of stillage rail monitoring, deploying heat watchman when required, as well as designing Emergency & Temporary Speed Restrictions prior to the need of application. I would create/compile work package plans, CRT management plans, IRJ installations/recoveries,hollow Sleeper Form A/B’s, amending IRJ & Hollow Sleeper designs, proposing a solution from the survey & carrying out P-Way related tender scopes.

After completing my Railway Engineering Apprenticeship, I started my railway career contracting, working for Specialist Engineering Services (Doncaster), employed as a specialised trackman. Working throughout the UK however mainly been based on the Peterborough to Doncaster GNGE project, carrying out plain line renewal & Track Maintenance works. On weekends Track renewals would commence, followed up with stressing of CWR track, tamping & snagging works on a weekly basis over a 2 year period continuously as well as carrying out re-railing, point conversions, S&C installation & panel building works. Having gained 2 years’ experience as a PTS operative carrying out all aspects of P-way Maintenance works, I was then put through my COSS competency towards the end of my time at SES, acting as a controller of site safety making sure he set up a safe system of work for myself and my team working in compliance with the SSOW Hierarchy.
